
INSTRUMENT FLIGHT RATING (IFR)
Instrument Rating is the next step after acquiring a Private Pilot License. We will teach you the challenges of flying solely by reference to instruments, rules and procedures specific to instrument flying, and additional instruction in meteorology.
The hours listed are based on the FAA Part 141 minimum requirements as well as 12+years of expertise at GoFly Academy.
Additional training may be required
All hourly rates are wet, meaning fuel is included in the price. Fuel reimbursements are honored up to local field rates with valid receipts.

Fees for knowledge and practical tests are at the discretion of the examiners and testing centers and are subject to changes (GoFly Academy does not have any control over required fees)
FAA REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 17 years old to pass the practical flight exam
Hold at least a current FAA Private Pilot Certificate
Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
FAA medical exam is required
Must be a US Citizen or acquire TSA Approval
